Hi All,
This is my first attempt at posting a blog as the principal of Grandview Elementary School in Windsor, Colorado. I've just returned home from a great conference sponsored by CASE (Colorado Association of School Executives) and am motivated to learning more about how blogging may be an effective and appropriate tool for enhancing the education experience of our communities children.
Once, when I was a technology integration coordinator at another district, this technology was very new. In trying to learn more I signed up for a blog, created an account, published my thoughts and a year later, no one had responded. I put aside this thought of blogging and began paying attention to other focal points in becoming a principal.
However, this conference had several wonderful speakers who shared their thoughts and insights with me in a way that makes me realize, I owe it to our children to learn more about this technology, good and bad, and be prepared to take a stand on it one way or another.
I hope to engage more individuals to reply and am looking forward to reading other blogs and making some replies.
